(Princeton, NJ, June 14, 2012) – The Chauncey Conference Center in Princeton, NJ will undergo a renovation July 2–October 1, 2012, and when it reopens, management expects guests will be pleased with a wide range of luxury options and accommodations. The ARAMARK managed property, located on the grounds of Educational Testing Service (ETS), will be closed during the rejuvenation process.
“The project will include the remodeling and amenity enhancement of all guest rooms to include new furnishings, phone, iPad/iPod docking station clock and flat screen televisions with HDTV,” says Sara Blivaiss, General Manager. “To further augment our leisure and dining offerings, the lobby will be expanded and service enhanced to offer a welcoming new lounge featuring an 18-hour food and beverage concept, affording our guests with an inviting environment in which to relax and gather.”
Guests will also appreciate upgraded audio-visual components available in one of the center’s most popular meeting rooms, which will offer cutting-edge audio and video technology and teleconferencing. Plans also call for adding a new meeting room to meet the growing needs of customers.
“Chauncey’s exterior will also be getting a face-lift, with a new porte cochere to welcome our guests and protect them from the elements, as well as new siding, roofing and balconies,” adds Blivaiss. “In addition to all of the visible changes, many infrastructure changes will be made that will not be visible to the guests, but will enhance the experience from a sustainability and technological standpoint.”
Annually, the Chauncey Conference Center is home to countless meetings and special events including weddings, bar/bat mitzvahs, and corporate and individual celebrations.
Chauncey Conference Center, an ARAMARK managed property located on 370 acres — minutes from downtown Princeton, New Jersey, encompasses 9,500 square feet of meeting space, including 22 meeting rooms. The center also provides state-of-the-art business services, high-speed wireless internet access, and personalized business, dining and lodging services to accommodate meetings up to 200 guests.
