Whether you're planning a golf outing, wedding reception, party, meeting or other event, Chauncey provides the ideal setting. It's also the perfect place to gather with friends for a meal. Guests can enjoy casual elegance in the Solomon Dining Room as well as the relaxed atmosphere of new C- Bar & Lounge. And festive special events— from outdoor barbecues to elegant receptions—are our specialty.
Solomon Room
The Solomon Room, Chauncey's main dining room, has expansive windows that look onto tranquil views of the lake, lawn and gardens. The Executive Chef, John Shirley, Vice Conseiller Culinare of Chaine des Rotisseurs, uses local artesian products and produce, fresh herbs from his garden located on the grounds (seasonal).
C Bar
The C Bar features casual fare and beverage service in a lively bistro atmosphere overlooking the lake and grounds. with indoor and outdoor (seasonal) seating. Gather with friends in the C Bar and join us for our version of Happy Hour...we call it "Hungry Hour" and enjoy half price appetizers from the bar menu! Offered Monday - Friday 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm.

Afternoon Tea
Seatings are offered Wednesday through Saturday starting at 3:00 pm. Reservations and cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
Tea is served in the Solomon Dining Room or our cozy Brodsky Art Gallery on fine English bone china, featuring loose leaf teas from Mighty Leaf Teas. Mighty Leaf infuses life into an ancient indulgence by creating teas that reaches new heights of quality and innovation.
Classic Tea:
Savory tea sandwiches, assorted sweets, and fresh baked scones served with our house-made jam and English Devonshire cream. $20.00 per person (ages 13 and up)
Royal Tea:
Added to the Classic tea you can enjoy a glass of champagne or mimosa. $25.00 per person
Little Prince and Princess Tea:
Our Chef will gladly adjust their menu to flatter the tastes of our young patrons. Children (ages 7 to 12) $16.00 per child; Children (6 and under) $11.00 per child
Afternoon Tea Reservations:
Reservations must be made at least 24 hours in advance directly with our Restaurant Reservations agent at 609-921-3600 or by email at jstamile@ets.org. Please call at least 24 hours to cancel an existing reservation to avoid charges on your credit card.

Ideal setting for all occasions from bridal and baby showers to birthdays and casual gatherings of family and friends. We can tailor our afternoon tea menu to suit your group's needs and make your special occasion in Princeton a memorable one.
Private Afternoon Tea parties for up to 100 guests pricing:

- Classic - $32
- Little Prince & Princess Tea - (ages 7 to 12) - $16

Private party pricing includes a celebration cake sized based on guaranteed number of guests, house table linens, use of private room (dining room may be reserved from 2:30-5pm for parties of 40 or more).
Special Teas:
Special-Event teas feature Eliza Blackwell Dupree, a charming lady of the Victorian era, a gifted storyteller who will arrive in full period costume and delight you with storiesbased on the topic noted for the event. You will enjoy listening to Eliza as she tells her story filled with interesting facts and humor, as you are transported back to a different time.

Interested in booking a private "Special-Tea" event at Chauncey? We can work with you to contract our historical storyteller and arrange for her to entertain your guests during a private Special-Tea. Private Special-teas are generally arranged on Sunday's, although alternate days can be considered. Shows generally run 35 to 45 minutes and the storyteller will visit with your guests following the presentation to answer any questions that your guests may have about historical figure/erac represented. Availability of private space and entertainer must be confirmed prior to booking a private Special-tea event.
