Don't take our word for it...listen to our brides "We never thought we would be able to afford this hidden gem in Princeton, but after meeting with staff and doing a tour of the site we knew immediately that we had our venue. The grounds and facility are gorgeous and the event staff are fantastic. Chauncey was able to individualize our plans and menu to fit into our budget and fit the visions that we had for our big day. Staff were incredibly informative, supportive and great to work with. Our event was better than we could have imagined and are truly happy that we chose Chauncey as they made the planning process fun and minimized the stress." As quoted on Wedding Wire.
Marriage equality is now the law in New Jersey. Civil marriage licenses are being granted to same-sex couples! Celebrate your love with a wedding at Chauncey. One of our happy brides posted the following on Wedding Wire "Our wedding was beautiful, the food was delicious, and Chauncey’s staff went above and beyond anything we could expect. The staff were extremely accommodating, helping to make our wedding a memorable experience, which our family and friends still talk about to this day. I would highly recommend to anyone planning their wedding at Chauncey. It’s a wonderful place to get married, and we never felt we were treated any differently as a same sex couple."
Another happy couple wrote the following on "The Knot" after their June, 2016 wedding.
Wow, where to begin? To start, The Chauncey was absolutely perfect for our wedding and five stars is not nearly enough to convey how wonderful this place is. Hands down. As soon as we saw it, we fell in love with the beautiful scenery, gorgeous gazebo, and the overall cozy yet classy feel of the place. The rooms and hallways were unusual, with multiple textures and levels that made it feel not just intriguing, but warm and inviting. Plus, we had a lot of family and friends coming from out of town during a holiday weekend, and it is in a perfect centralized location where people don’t have to run back and forth to a separate hotel, since everything is attached. It really is all-in-one and super convenient! Our guests also loved visiting the downtown and the surrounding areas, which many of them had never seen before. In addition, the staff is the most professional and top-notch staff we’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. Everyone was so kind and willing to go above and beyond to make our special day absolutely perfect. Cathy Geer, especially, was AMAZING. She is the best and helped make sure every detail was exactly as we wanted and really kept our stress level at an all-time low. We don’t know how we would have managed without her, but she is absolutely wonderful and a joy to work with. (We really can’t thank you enough Cathy, if you read this!) Not sure how she does it, but she ROCKS! Not to mention, the food was superb! Plus, we had many guests with various food allergies and eating issues, and the Chauncey staff happily catered to their every need, which we really appreciate. In all, it was an incredible experience and a gorgeous day. People are still raving to us about how beautiful it was, how good the food was, and how much fun they had. Thank you to everyone at the Chauncey for helping us to make some truly wonderful memories! We will be sure to come back and visit, as well as recommend this place to anyone we hear is looking for a venue.
Celebrate your bridal shower in style with a charming afternoon tea party. Bridal Tea Showers are a perfect remembrance of the bride’s special day. But don't take our word for it. The following is a quote from a thank you note received on November 11th.
"I want to thank you and your staff for helping to make my daughter's bridal shower so memorable. The tables were set beautifully, the food was delicious, and your staff was so attentive. My only regret is that I didn't know about the Chauncey sooner. Regards, Nita"
A Bridesmaid's Luncheon is a time for the bridal party to say farewell to the bride and for the bride to acknowledge her bridal party. This is the appropriate time to thank the bridal party, give them their gifts, and if the bridesmaids are giving the bride a group gift, this would be the appropriate time to do it. Also, because many members of the bridal party often come from out of town, it is a wonderful chance for the bridal party to spend some quality time together before the nuptials!
Tea for two-baby & you! Nothing would make an expectant mother happier than a surprise afternoon tea party with lots of sweet treats. Whatever you choose to make, there's no doubt that the mother-to-be will leave her shower feeling loved.
Whether you are celebrating your 1st or 100th birthday, a birthday party tea is the perfect celebration. Girls love tea parties, whether they're a toddler, pre-teen, or a Grandma. So why not satisfy their love for tea by throwing them a tea party for their Birthday!
