My husband and I had our reception at The Chauncey Hotel on May 2, 2025, and we could not be happier with our experience. From the very beginning, the communication was absolutely excellent. Every email and phone call was answered promptly, and the staff was always ready to help with anything we needed. It gave us such peace of mind during what could have been a stressful planning process. The pricing was incredibly reasonable for the quality of service, food, and venue we received. We felt like we were given exceptional value, which is so rare when planning a wedding. The food was absolutely delicious—from the rehearsal dinner the night before to the wedding reception itself. Our guests are still raving about it. The rehearsal dinner was intimate and special, setting the tone perfectly for the big day. On the day of the wedding, everything was nearly seamless. The team at Chauncey was attentive to every detail I had requested. I felt completely supported and understood throughout the entire process. A special thank you to Rebecca, who was instrumental in making the day run smoothly. Her calm demeanor and organizational skills helped everything fall into place perfectly. The Chauncey is truly the most beautiful venue. The scenery, the setting, the elegant yet cozy atmosphere—it was everything I dreamed it would be. Our wedding was everything I hoped for and more, and we are so grateful to the entire staff for helping make it the most perfect day. 5 STARS!  My daughter's wedding was fabulous!
My daughter's wedding was fabulous!  Rebecca was so patient with us and the many questions we had over the months and weekend of the wedding.  The staff was wonderful and my daughter's ceremony and reception went smoothly.  The food was excellent as was the service. A month later and we are still getting compliments on the venue, food, and entire experience from our guests.  I would highly recommend Chauncey to anyone planning an event.

5 STARS - Becca was always professional and responsive...

I found Chauncey on The Knot and they were my first venue tour and left a long impression. After seeing several venues and discussing logistics, my now husband and I settled on Chauncey. We were hoping for a Saturday, but settled on Sunday. After a couple of months , we met our new venue coordinator, Becca, who is amazing. She was always professional and responsive to any questions we had. The food was good for the rehearsal dinner and the reception dinner. They were very accommodating of last minute decisions like adding a memory table. Everything went so smoothly that I barely had to worry. All of the little details were displayed just as I envisioned. The suite we used was large and spacious. One of our guests did have a problem with their air conditioner not working, but were able to move to a different room and slept comfortably. I didn't use the Laurie House, but the outside was beautiful. The Brodsky Gallery was a great location for everyone to mingle and meet post ceremony and the empanadas were delicious. We also elected a donut wall through Chauncey versus a cake through their preferred bakery. The pork roll and cheese was delicious as well. If I had to do it all over again, I would definitely choose Chauncey again as our wedding venue!

5 STARS!! Finding this venue was a dream come true.

Finding this venue was a dream come true. It has the outdoor setting that we were looking for and it’s a place surrounded by beautiful scenery and quiet. We had the pleasure of working with Rebecca as our coordinator and she was amazing. Effective communication through the whole process and responded to every question we had. On the wedding day, she made sure we didn’t have to do anything with decor and was on top of things which was very helpful. Definitely recommend this venue!

5 Stars! Staff was fantastic and our guests loved the venue.

Rebecca was a pleasure to work with while planning our wedding--always quick to respond and provide details we needed for planning. The staff was fantastic and our guests loved the venue and open bar. We received a plethora of complements towards our bar tender and our personal server made it even easier to enjoy our reception. The cocktail hour and reception were professionally set up, the food was amazing, and the cake from Cramer bakery was delicious. The flexibility in add ons was great too when we didn't know the number of guests we would have as we selected a venue!

Chauncey was absolutely incredible!

The Chauncey was absolutely incredible with both before the day and on the day itself. It's hard to express in words. In the lead-up to our wedding day, Becca was super-prompt, knowledgeable, and helpful with every question and request that we could think of. Then, on the day, she organized us through major last-minute changes as if it was nothing. She also came up with in-the-moment ideas for decor that looked incredible. The entire day was stunning and super smooth thanks in huge part to her. In fact, everyone was talking to us about how beautiful the venue was and how nice everyone who worked at the wedding was. The people who work in catering at the Chauncey made our day, and I think they made the day of so many of our guests amazing as well. Many, many guests spoke to us about how talented and kind bartender Theron was. Nadine was also another person who was there on the day of our wedding and who made our day amazing. They were just a few of the people who I think made the day even more fun for us and our guests. The food and drinks were AMAZING, and the venue was stunning. And not to mention, all the food came out hot and on time -- we had a large wedding, so this was no small feat! We also were able to have most of our guests stay at the hotel, and they loved the hotel rooms, the location, and the fact that they could hang out longer with everyone because they didn't have to move to get to any events. We rented the Laurie House, and it was perfect to have a slightly secluded but still easy-to-access space for us and our families to get organized and stay in. Literally every single thing about the Chauncey was perfect. In short, it was a dream of a weekend thanks to the Chauncey, Becca, and the amazing people who work there.
